“John was a Firefighter with my Father "Bud" Larsen, I was so enamored with these men of the RFD, 60's 70's & early 80's they were all my hero's! So, that I chose the same profession, as a 30 Firefighter/Paramedic, now retired, I still volunteer for the RFD! He & Sandy and Most all other Men & Famili were like Aunts & Uncle's when I was a lad, the FD family, I spent more holidays weekends and Days, appreciating them as the most important family! He will be missed by many! May he rest in peace!”
