He was predeceased by: his daughter Kelly Schermerhorn. He is survived by: his children, Dawn Frazel (Donald), Tracy Schermerhorn Logan, Allen Schermerhorn and Nicole Schermerhorn; his grandchildren, Brandon-Keith Schermerhorn, Jesse, Cora Frazel, Gabriel, Grace Schermerhorn, Gavin, Gage Brill, Kenia and Melanie Trejo; his great grandchildren, Amelia White, Anniya Banks, Denzel Alexander, Jr. and Michael; and his brother Tom Schermerhorn (Mary).
