He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Eliason and Joseph Eliason; his brothers, Walter and Earl; and his nephew Richard Eliason.
He is survived by: his wife Kitty Kilen; his daughters, Alice Winker (Ted) and Betsy Kennedy (Myles); his grandchildren, Molly and Austin Winker; his niece Doris DuBois; and his nephews, Russ (Karen), Robert (Maryann) and Roger Eliason (Bon).
