He was predeceased by: his wife Josette; and his brothers, Thomas and Jerry Shannon. He is survived by: his children, Jane Gardinier, John (Connie), Bob (Ann) and Bill (Cindy); and his siblings, James Shannon and Anne McKoy. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
