He was predeceased by: his wife Fern; his parents, John and Ann; and his siblings, Lorraine, Mary Ann and Donald.

He is survived by: his children, Joleen (Curt), Cindy and Jerry (Gail); his grandchildren, Chris (Ali), Jenny (Trev), Jeremy (Desi) and Jesse (Amy); his great grandchildren, Anika, Bryna, Nolan, Cole, Sophie, Bella, Dakota and Jayme Jayde; and his siblings, Ron (Camilla) and Jean. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
