He was predeceased by: his sister Lucia Fisher; and his nephew Paul Fisher. He is survived by: his sister Carolyn Oppedahl (Andrew) of Dubuque, Iowa; his nephews, Mark Oppedahl (Kris Dzitkowski), Nathan Oppedahl (Jeneann) and Rev. Paul Oppedahl; his niece Beth Chaplin; his great-nieces, Laila and Madeline; and his great-nephew Jonah.
