We are sad to announce that on March 28, 2025, at the age of 91, Joan Abrahamson of Minneapolis, Minnesota passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan Abrahamson to pay them a last tribute.
Though Joan may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joan touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathan Siegel and Elsie Siegel (Jack Abrahamson). She is survived by: her children, Lynn Nicholson, Sally Drescher (Dan), Aaron Rubenstein and Michael Rubenstein (Gail). She is also survived by six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Temple Israel (2323 Fremont Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55405). A shiva was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 7:00 PM, on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
