He is survived by: his daughter Ellen Marie; his parents, John Hofstede and Colleen Hofstede; and his siblings, Lisa Pliego (Robert), Sarah Timmers (Jason) and John Hofstede (Jennifer). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
