He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph and Mary; and his siblings, Eugene Roney, Marie Nelson and Patricia Athmann.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Roney; his children, Laurenda Roney and Shelly Samborski (Tony); his sisters, Maxine Flugaur, Irene King and Donna Kelly (Patrick); and his siblings-in-law, Patrick Fahey, Richard Fahey (Charlotte) and Mary Nelson (Todd). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Church of the Ascension (1723 N Bryant Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55411). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
