He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Zellmer and Rose Zellmer; and his siblings, Jack, Phil, Betty, Pat and Marydell.

He is survived by: his wife Ann Marie; his children, Timothy (Lisa Zellmer) and Janet Lerch (Steven); his grandchildren, Timmy, Zoe, Erin and Christian; and his siblings, Tom Zellmer (Jackie) and Theresa Clendenin (Dick). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St. Jude Children's Hospital, or Totino Grace High School.
