Irving Shapiro Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irving Shapiro (Minneapolis, Minnesota), who passed away on December 31, 2019 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Irving Shapiro to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his wife Janet; and his parents, Benjamin Shapiro and Rebecca Shapiro of London, Ontario.. He is survived by: his children, Matthew Shapiro (Susan Garetz), Eben Shapiro (Susan Atkins), Hugh Shapiro (Limin Liu) and Ann Stern (Willy Stern); and his grandchildren, Benjamin, Molly, Emily, Isaac, Max, Eli, Zack and Phoebe. He is also survived by the youngest of seven siblings.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to The Phillips Eye Institute Irving and Janet Shapiro Innovative Technology Fund.
