She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph Richard Dehkes; her parents, Gilbert Johnstone and Ida Johnstone (Ruud); her siblings, Vern Johnstone (Olga), Glen Johnstone (Jean), Elaine Johnson (Lester) and Larry Johnstone (Luda); and her sister-in-law Ann Johnstone.

She is survived by: her brother Dick Johnstone of Mora; and her children, Michele Lofton of Mobile, Rebecca Dehkes, Michael Dehkes (Susan) of Jacobson, MN, Sandra Juni (Daniel) of New Ulm, MN and Simone Miller (Kenny) of Greeley Colorado. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
