We are sad to announce that on February 9, 2024, at the age of 96, Hy Paisner (Minneapolis, Minnesota), born in Winnipeg, Manitoba passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Rachel Paisner; his sister Anne Katz; his parents-in-law, Henry and Lillian Sigesmund of Winnipeg; his brother-in-law Arnold Sigesmund of Los Angeles; and his cousins, Dave and Arline Bloom of Golden Valley, MN..
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Sigesmund Paisner of Golden Valley, MN.; his sons, Martin (Judy), Barry (Charleen), Joel (Liz) and Richard (Jamie); his great grandchildren, Micah, Maggie, Jacques, Sage, Scarlett, Raoul, Liesette, Alex, Natalie, Tom, Noah, Jasper and Sascha; his nephew Bradley Sigesmund (Jack); his niece Lainie Etzioni; and his caregivers, Dr. Paisner, Carrie, Sabrina, Rejoice, Alberta, Star, Jennifer, Buster and Larry. He is also survived by grandchildren and their spouses.
