He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Ann (Fort); his parents, Herman and Edith; and his siblings, Joyce (Jack) and Warren (Pearl).
He is survived by: his children, Ruthie (Brad) and Donald (Diane); and his grandchildren, Jenie, Jane, Dan, Anna, Sarah, Becky, Ashly, Maddy and D. J.. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
