He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sarah Markowitz (Bonder) and Harry Markowitz; his daughters, Joy Markowitz (Rick Eisen) of Takoma Park, MD, Lauri Markowitz (Nathan Shaffer) of Atlanta, GA and Diane Markowitz (Mark Reaman) of Crested Butte, CO; and his grandchildren, Elana-Eisen-Markowitz (Amanda Torres), Jack Eisen-Markowitz (Nora Toiv), Rachel Shaffer, Jeremy Shaffer, Ben Reaman (Taylor) and Sam Reaman. He was also cherished by 4 great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Adath Jeshurun Congregation (10500 Hillside Ln W, Minnetonka, MN 55305). A shiva was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 7:00 PM.
