It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry Joseph Basil (Minneapolis, Minnesota), who passed away on August 13, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick Basil and Saada Basil; his wife Marjorie Basil (Taft); his siblings, Genevieve Resha (Phil) and Edmond Basil (Carole); his son-in-law Thomas Holland; and his grandson-in-law Gerardo Figarella.

He is survived by: his children, Lynn Holland of Milwaukee, WI, Nick Basil (Karen) of Naples, FL, Sara Liimatainen (Les) of Esko, MN, Christopher Basil of Savage, MN and Mary Lou (Brad) of Powell, Wyoming..
