Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Hedwig leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her boyfriend John; and her brother Sigmund "Joe" Sarna. She is survived by: her children, Irene Moe (Ken), Donna Machowicz (Mark), Christine Verge, Maryann Malec and Steven Malec; her sister LeeAnn Freeman; her grandsons, Matthew Thompson (Mia) and Nathan Rabb; and her great grandchild River Thompson. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Memorials preferred to Our Lady of Peace Hospice in memory of Hedy.
