He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Johnson and Agnes Johnson (Gunderson); his wife Shirley Guse; his son Russell Dean (Johnson) of Alexandria, MN; and his siblings, Marilyn, Herbert and Donald.
He is survived by: his children, Mark (Lori) of Coon Rapids, MN, Diane Theusch (Jim) of Minneapolis, MN and Julie Bowland of Lakeville, MN. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, along with nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
