He was predeceased by: his wife Aileen; his mother Jenny; and his sisters, Sylvia Klayman and Eleanor Novotney. He is survived by: his children, Barry Bershow (Hallie) and Nancy Saaranen (Frank); and his grandchildren, Sarah (Jeremy), Spencer (Chris), Laura (Darin) and Robby (Andrea). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
