It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hans Leland Melgaard (Minneapolis, Minnesota), who passed away on November 10, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sister Mary Hultman; and his wife Ilona Laurel Melgaard (Sjovall). He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Newton (Evan), Christine, Hans (Danielle), Timothy (Marie) and Andrew; his grandchildren, Michael Borovsky (Kristin), Sean Newton (Christine), Nicholas Borovsky, Lianna Newton, Hans Logan, Delaney Melgaard, Gabrielle, Thomas and Charlotte Melgaard; his sister Marcia Boisclair; and his former wife Marcia Peterson. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
