Gerald William McGuire Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald William McGuire of Minneapolis, Minnesota, born in Danvers, Minnesota, who passed away on February 22, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother Jim. He is survived by: his wife Marcia; his children, Matthew (Tammy) of Lakeville, MN and Kara Erolin (Jaime Brito) of Plantation, FL.; and his grandchildren, Vincent, Grace, Devyn, Dylan and Tiago. He is also survived by his mother's six children and her stepchildren.

With the progression of macular degeneration and Alzheimer's he slowly gave up these activities in recent years, but he still enjoyed time at his cabin in Nevis (since 1975) and his home in Port Charlotte, FL (since 2005). Memorials are preferred to one's charity of choice.
