He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert and Helen. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Leigh Lupton Dokka; his children, Valerie Dokka Hertz (Kenneth), Peggy Dokka-Thorson (Glenn) and Gerald D. Dokka; and his grandchildren, Craig A. Hertz (Kelsey Bauer), Nathan T. Hertz, Erin M. Hertz (Jon Mak), Andrew E. Thorson and Lauren L. Thorson Mooney (Michael).
