He was predeceased by: his parents, Gert Lapides and Henry Lapides. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his children, Jeanne Stein (Jeff) and Howard Lapides (Mary); his siblings, Judy Witebsky, Bill Lapides, Fran Lapides, Elaine Schwartz and Ira Schwartz; and his grandchildren, Dana, Debbie (Oren), Spencer (Elena), Amelia and Parker. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Roitenberg Assisted Living, or the Parkinson's Foundation.
