He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Fransen and Linnea Fransen (Johnson); his son Curt; his son-in-law Dennis Hjort; and his brothers, Lorin, Roger and John, Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Betty Severson; his daughters, Jackie Hjort, Wendy Gorham (Mike) and Laura Jergenson (Brian); his grandchildren, Adam (Erin), Leah, Rachel (Tony), Neil, Taylor (Erin), Collin, Scott, Chad and Rita (Mitch); and his great grandchildren, Owen, Macy, Liza, Levi, Violet, Hunter, Anna, Lydia, Josiah and Wyatt. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
