He was predeceased by: his wives, LeAnn Schimmele, Marilyn Jean Anstey and Virginia Mae Jensen; his brother Craig Schnack; and his stepdaughter-in-law Pamela Anstey.
He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Stanton of Des Moines, IA, Dr. Sherrie Schnack Minneapolis of Minneapolis, Minnesota and David Schnack of Minneapolis, MN; his parents, Earle Otto and Lucille Idealia Schnack (Burgin); his brother Gordon Schnack (Irene) of Omaha, Nebraska; his stepsons, Todd Anstey of Plattsmouth, Nebraska and Curt Anstey of Plattsmouth, Nebraska; and his close friend Bonnie Grabill of Harlan, Iowa. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
