With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Franklin Roger Rasmussen (Minneapolis, Minnesota), born in Milnor, North Dakota, who passed away on January 3, 2025 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his former wife Nancy Rasmussen; his parents, Ellen Rasmussen and Emil Rasmussen; and his siblings, Roy Rasmussen and Hazel Mavis.
He is survived by: his sons, Roger of Wendell, David of St. Paul, MN and Steven of Lake City, FL; the mother of his children Ann Rasmussen; and his stepchildren, Lil Hofflander (Mark), Sandra Sorensen (Bob), Connie Marsh (Doug), Karen Fobes (Craig), Dale Laurent (Elisa), Sally Proels (Tim), Jon Laurent (Lisa) and Jennifer Boudreau (Tom). He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Glen Haven Chapel (5125 W Broadway, Minneapolis, MN 55429). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Glen Haven Memorial Gardens (5125 W Broadway, Minneapolis, MN 55429).
