He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Katzovitz and Ike Katzovitz; and his siblings, Helen Rosen (Don), Harvey Katzovitz (Harriette), Charlene "Chuckie" Moscoe (Art) and Marcia Pinkus (Aaron).

He is survived by: his spouse Isla; his children, Gail Linsk, Vicki Siskin (Michael) and Michael Katzovitz (Stacy); his stepdaughters, Audra Yentz (Matthew) and Lorin Godes (Scott); and his grandchildren, Joshua Linsk, Isabella Siskin, Benn, Rachel Katzovitz, Ryan (Cece), McKayla, Olivia, Sophia, Jack Yentz, Talia, Ella Braufman and Adam Godes. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Donations can be made to the Bet Shalom Congregation or the donor's favorite charity.
