She is survived by: her children, James (Julie), Travis, Thomas "Jay" (Anajanette), Vanessa Benjamin (Tommy), Andrea, Stacy Saros (Angel), Sarah Mastrey, Mike McCarty (Erin) and Gary Haglund (Liz); her grandchildren, Archie, Shinaana, Jasmine, Abigail, Sage, Tatianna, Alonzo (Trinity), Rene'"Rey", Raul and Daniel; her great grandchildren, Enzo, Rowen, Koa and Evelyn; and her sisters, Darlene Johnson (Don), Kim Lohnes (Fred), Maria Plaster and Jo Lohnes. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, loving relatives and friends.
A wake was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Minnesota Indian Women's Resource Center (2300 15th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55404). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hillside Cemetery (2600 19th Ave NE, Minneapolis, MN 55418).
