He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Simon and Ellen Simon (Rafoth); his wife Betty; his stepson Steven Aide; his siblings, Jim, Anton, Bill, Ted, Jerry, Claire, Ann (Heppelmann) and Carl; and his nephew Brian Eggler.
He is survived by: his friend Betty Nelson Aide; his sister Helen (Eggler); and his brother-in-law Bob Nelson.
Masks and social distancing will be required for both the visitation and funeral mass.
