He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Hanson and Myrtle Hanson (Johnson); and his siblings, Arthur (Marilyn Talle), Marjorie (Samuel Solhaug) and Carl "Bud" (Shirley McOmber).
He is survived by: the mother of his children Bella Hanson (Eske); his son David; his grandson Dominick (Haley); his great grandchild Thor; his daughter Sara; and his granddaughter Delilah. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Norwegian Lutheran Memorial Church (924 E 21st St, Minneapolis, MN 55404). A memorial service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ft. Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450). A procession was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 1:45 PM at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450).
