She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyudmila Fedorenko and Stanislav Erdavletov; and her son Christopher Wivholm. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Curran; her stepchildren, Megan, Patrick and Shannon (Renat Balandin); her sister Masha Karubian; and her niece Lauren Karubian.
In lieu of flowers, Elina requested that donations be made to the American Breast Cancer Foundation or the Chris Wivholm Foundation.
