He was predeceased by: his parents, August Trebesch and Helen Trebesch. He is survived by: his wife Mona; his children, Matt Trebesch (Mia) and Sarah Nelson (Chris); his grandchildren, Xavier, Zachary, Otis and Thor; his brother Darrell Trebesch; and his sister-in-law Lois Rae Trebesch. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Glen Haven Chapel (5125 W Broadway, Minneapolis, MN 55429). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 1:15 PM to 1:45 PM at the Glen Haven Memorial Gardens (5125 W Broadway, Minneapolis, MN 55429). A reception was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 1:45 PM to 3:15 PM at the Glen Haven Chapel (5125 W Broadway, Minneapolis, MN 55429).
In lieu of flowers, Doug's strong request is that donations be made to Magnus Veteran's Foundation (Dayton, MN) and Word of Peace Lutheran Church (Rogers, MN) building campaign.
