He is survived by: his wife Mary of Plymouth, MN; his brother Stephen Upton (Pamela) of Boone, NC; and his children, Thomas Upton of Mound, Joan Weir of Maple Grove, Jane Upton, Kathleen Nelson (Christopher) of Victoria, MN and Jerome Upton (Cindy) of Park Rapids, MN.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
