She is survived by: her siblings, Jimmie Lou Taylor (Hudson) and Charles Hudson; her husband Jess W. Mason; and her children, Omar Abdul-Khaaliq, John Franklin Mason, Eugene Cortez Mason, Gregory Jay Mason and Lateesa Thamani Ward. She is also survived by her five children, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and friends.
