He was predeceased by: his father Rudy Uden; his stepparents, Gloria Uden and Daniel Snare; his brother Doug; and his half-siblings, Denise and Dale.

He is survived by: his daughter Jamie Vargo (Dan); his granddaughters, Abigail, Madelyn and Lillian; his close friend Brenda Trebesch; and his mother Jean Snare. He is also survived by many half-sisters and brothers.
