She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Friedland and Cora Friedland; her significant other Maynard Ess; her siblings, Eileen Fait (John), Donald (Vicky) and Kenny Friedland (Jeanne); and her brother-in-law Eugene Yanish.

She is survived by: her son Richard Ess; her siblings, Dianne Yanish, Joyce Holliday and Anthony Friedland (Sandra); and her cousins, Betty Rod and William Friedland (Sandra). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family of Delores would like folks to plant trees in her memory.
