He was predeceased by: his father Harry Maharaj. He is survived by: his mother Rupwatie Maharaj (Ramcharan); his wife Jean; and his children, Nalina Pearson (Robert), Nitara Brown (Jeremy), Krishanand Maharaj (Jane) and Indrani Rosario (Gregory). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, four sisters, and one brother.
