David Tupa Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Tupa (Minneapolis, Minnesota), who passed away on October 27, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Tupa and Adela Tupa; his siblings, Margaret Meagher, Edward and John Tupa; and his siblings-in-law, Charlie Fjeld and Nancy Tupa.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce (Jarus); his children, Mary Zavoral, Brian and Craig Tupa (Michelle); his grandchildren, Cory Zavoral (Carla McGraw) and Sara Zavoral (Jay Heard); and his siblings, Eva Fjeld and Clarence Tupa. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church (145 Jersey Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55426). A Mass was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450).
