He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl and Gladys. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Jennifer and Bryan; his grandchildren, Shelby Backstrom (Maged), Joshua Backstrom and Evelyn Shutt; and his siblings, Deb Nelson (Rick) and Earl, Jr. (Dianne). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
