He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Thometz (Mark) of Woodbury, Jeffrey Barsness (Kerri) of Andover, Anthony Barsness of New York City, Michele Van Kley (Brady) and Ashley Lund (Brent) of Olathe, KS.; his grandchildren, Mitchell, Brittany, Jeffrey-Anthony, Zachary Thometz, Trenton Ortner (Amanda), Brendan, Jared Barsness and Hudson Lund; his sister Dyann Schumacher (James) of Glenwood; his nieces, Alicia Paul (Mike) and Lindsay Alowairdi (Raji); and his nephew Luke Schumacher.
