He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Maurice, Anna Barbezat of Yonkers, John, Betty Hughes of Ormond and Beach of Florida.

He is survived by: his parents, James W. Hughes and Debra A. Barbezat of Falmouth Foreside, Maine; his stepmother Rhonda Hughes of Fredericksburg Texas; his stepsiblings, Ashley Smith (Jimmy Ngo) of Firestone, Colorado and Clayton Smith (Rebecca Smith) of Fredericksburg, Texas; and his uncles, John Hughes and John Barbezat.
