She was predeceased by: her siblings, Elizabeth Banks, Marie Philipps, Gertrude Covetts, Kenny Boling and Darrell Boling.
She is survived by: her spouse Hubert P. Philipps; her children, Edward Philipps (Colleen) of Parkton, NC, David Philipps (Ronda) of Greensboro, NC, Jeffrey Philipps (Kathy) of Fennhaven and Michael Philipps (Suzanne) of Greensboro, NC.; and her grandchildren, Shauna Haslip, Brittney Norman, Danny, Christopher, Michael, Jerome, Alex, Amy, Tori and Austin Philipps.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Alzheimer Association.
