She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Farmer and Phyllis Farmer; her brother Curt; her sister-in-law Karen; and her nephew Dan.

She is survived by: her husband James Schaefer; her daughters, Angela Henne (Richard) and Beth Huettl (Jeff); and her grandchildren, Jacob, Emily, Bridget and Thomas.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the ALS Association, the Animal Humane Society, or donors choice in Cheryl's name.
