He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jack Remien and Charlotte Connery Remien; his wife Eunice; his stepchildren, Pam Laventure (Mark) and Mark Haagensen (Tracie); his children, Samantha Laventure (Corey), Thomas Laventure (Kayla), Kellie Haagensen and Chloe Haagensen; his sister Carol Remien Hunsicker (Larry) of Iowa City; and his stepbrother Patrick Sheridan McNulty (Betsy Collins) of Santa Barbara. He was also cherished by five nieces and nephews.
