She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Zender and Magdalena Zender (Rathman); her spouse Selvin Grev; her former husband Vernon Jonson August; and her siblings, Jeanette Rempel (Ray), Marian Smith (Ben), Andrew "Red" Zender, John Zender (Ardyce) and Robert Zender (Marilyn).
She is survived by: her son-in-law Tate Ferguson; her children, Douglas John Grev (Penny) of St Paul, MN, Renee Grev Sheehan (Bill) of Alameda, CA, Rita Louise Grev, Tate Ferguson of Minneapolis, MN, Roger Scott Grev, Donna Toft of Columbus, OH and Randall David Grev (Amy Lu) of Taipei, Taiwan; her grandchildren, Matthew Grev (Jackie), James Grev, Jonathan Sheehan (Rebecca), Kelly Sheehan-Turner (Buddy Turner), David Sheehan, Casey Grev (Katie Schuler), Celie Grev (Sean Finotti) and Alison (Lena Grev); her great grandchildren, Elliana Grev (Matt), Louisa Grev (Casey), Kelly and Ethan; and her sister-in-law Kathleen Blumenshein of Sherburn, MN. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Despite the visiting restrictions during the pandemic, Sally kept up with family members' lives through daily Skype visits, often up to 2 hour sessions, with Rita and her siblings and spouses.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. James Catholic Church in St James, Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Morris, Church of St Albert the Great in Minneapolis, or Minnehaha Senior Living in Minneapolis.
