He is survived by: his mother Vivian Hillyer; his children, Samuel and Madeleine; his wife Cindy; his siblings, Heidi Smith (Greg) and Mark Hillyer (Jill Bode); and his nieces and nephews, Daniel Smith, Nicolas Andres, Christina Smith, Maggie Stearns, Jill Stearns and Max Stearns.
