He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Maikkula and Vivian Maikkula. He is survived by: his wife Linda Madden; his sons, Adam (Andrea Pérez-Maikkula) and Casey (Sara); his grandchildren, Lukas Pérez-Maikkula and Nikolas Pérez-Maikkula; and his brothers, Tom (Susan) and Neal (Cindy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Glen Haven Chapel (5125 W Broadway, Minneapolis, MN 55429). A memorial service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:45 PM at the same location.
