She is survived by: her children, Joel Heiligman (Shirley), Gail Pesis (Craig Zaligson), Mark Heiligman (Susan), Randy Heiligman (Bobbi) and Abby Strauss (Michael); her grandchildren, Heather Prudden (Stuart), Scott Heiligman, Sarah Goldfarb (Robbie), Rochelle Pesis, Jason Pesis, Jenny Zaligson, Zach Heiligman, Max Heiligman (Athena), Alex Heiligman (Kierra Groscost), Frank Heiligman, Jamie Heiligman (Kailey), Aliza Stein (Mickey), Zoe Strauss and Ben Strauss; her great grandchildren, Jack, Andrew Prudden, Ariel, Ruby Goldfarb, Lennon, Whelan Heiligman, Zella Heiligman and Baby Stein; her caregivers, Maggie, Fatu, Martha, Julia and Ralph; and her friend Raleigh Schwartz.
A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Beth El Synagogue (5225 Barry St W, Minneapolis, MN 55416).
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to donor's favorite charity.
