She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Edward; her children, Diana Boegemann (Philip AuClaire), Nancy Linahan (Todd), Patti Bye (Brad), Gary Boegemann, Linda Schmitt (Mike) and Kathleen Boegemann; and her brother Leander Ries. She was also cherished by 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren.
