Al-Hameed; his sisters, Ulrica Lawson and Mahasin Al-Hameed (Short); his grandparents, Joe and Blessit Pearl Newsome; his uncles, Lawrence Newsome, Philip Newsome and Hasson Hameed; and his cousins, Curtsie Newsome, Angel Hameed, Daryl Cunningham and Gregory Newsome.
He is survived by: his mother Tauheedah Al-Hameed; his wife Samantha Reeves; his children, Keelan, Muneer, Quran, Akeela, Ebony and Shakala; his grandchildren, Jaylen, Jersi, Jacksyn, Taraj'i, CeMarr, Efrain, Leelan, Scarlett, Alistair, Kairo and Kizzie; and his siblings, Ahmad, Hamidullah (Terri), Hammad (Joelaine), Zakee (Melanie), Waliyullah Al-Hameed (Noah), Ameedah, Aseelah, Wafa, Wala, Nimat (Raymond), Ziyadah (Don), Zarinah and Nadirah. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Laufersweiler Funeral Home (307 S 12th St, Fort Dodge, IA 50501).
